Q What is a “toxin handler”? Does your organization have any? What organizational consequences related to stress have been identified and how has the organization responded toward mitigating or eliminating those stressors?
An individual at the workplace who shows selfless to resolve the stress and negative emotions of other organizational members is known as a “toxin handler” (Hitt et al., 2018). There is no limit shown by toxin handlers to not use their emotions while resolving the emotional issues of other organizational individuals at the workplace (Kulik et al., 2009). There are no specific organizational members in my organization who could be categorized as toxin handlers.
